Ricky heads for the front door, walking by Mama Rat who is sitting watching TV. He says, “Bye, Mama!”
She asks, “Where are you going, Rickard?”
He tells her, “Me & Myles are gonna watch the game.”
Mama Rat tells him, “Not ’til you mow and edge the lawn!”
Ricky’s not thrilled but says, “Uh… sure thing, Mama.”
She then adds, “And weed the veggie beds, too.”
Ricky says, “OK.”
Mama Rat then really piles it on: “And your room needs vacuuming. And the recycling needs to be sorted. And don’t forget…”
